Active Chlorine Grade ACM Rubber
PA615E Carboxylic Grade 11.9Mpa Tensile Strength ACM Rubber for Automotive Accessory
DESCRIPTION
ACM, a copolymerization of acrylic esters and monomers, is composed of ethyl acrylates or butyl and oktyl acrylate, ethyl methoxi, or ethyloxi acrylates. These copolymers are highly resistant to oil, heat, aging, and ozone, but their tensile strength is not as good as NR and NBR. New generation ACMs can work at 150-1600C for approximately 1000 hours, but they tend to soften at high temperatures. When exposed to animal fat, vegetable oil, and mineral oil, ACM Vulcanisates are more resistant to expansion than other rubber compounds, except for FKM, which decreases as temperature rises. Chemicals do not work well with ACM, and it is not suitable for working under low temperatures and in water. Over 90% of ACM production is utilized in the automotive industry. It is commonly used in crankshafts, automatic and differential transmissions as shaft rubber, as well as in O-rings, valves, and oil hoses.

CLASSIFICATION
APPLICATIONS
The market growth is being propelled by the increasing production of automobiles and the need for durable products. Acrylic rubber is predominantly used for automotive seals and gaskets due to the escalating demand for oil-resistant rubber materials. Additionally, the market is positively impacted by the need for lower fuel consumption and the increasing temperatures in the engine compartment. The market will continue to expand steadily as end-users, such as customer merchandise and plastics, create a greater demand for acrylic rubber. Rapid industrialization, particularly in emerging economies such as China, will also play a crucial role in the market's growth in the coming years.
