Sepcial Crosslink Grade ACM Rubber
DESCRIPTION
Acrylate rubber, abbreviated as ACM. ACM is obtained by copolymerization with alkyl acrylate as the main monomer, as well as low-temperature oil-resistant monomers (such as acrylonitrile) and a small amount of vulcanization point third monomers with cross-linking active groups. Its main chain is a saturated carbon chain, and its side group is a polar ester group. Therefore, ACM rubber has oxidation resistance and ozone resistance, as well as outstanding resistance to hydrocarbon oil swelling. The oil and heat resistance of acrylic rubber is second only to fluorine rubber and hydrogenated nitrile rubber, and superior to nitrile rubber and butyl rubber. Its price is much lower than fluorine rubber and hydrogenated nitrile rubber, and 80% of it is used in the automotive industry, known as "automotive rubber".

APPLICATIONS
Acrylic rubber's widespread use in the automotive industry is due to its resistance to engine and transmission oil as well as automatic transmission fluids (ATF). With an operating temperature range between -20°C and +150°C, the latest generation of this rubber, HT-ACM (high-temperature-resistant polyacrylate elastomers), offers long-term thermal stability up to 175°C. ACM is utilized in the production of engine and transmission seals, turbocharger hoses, O-rings, diaphragms, hose applications, and roller coverings.
