General Purpose Silicone Rubber for Extrusion
DESCRIPTION
CHARACTERISTICS
After adding the vulcanizer "Double 2, 5", the product can undergo primary processing and may not require secondary vulcanization, provided that the technical conditions are correctly controlled. The resulting product offers excellent properties such as high and low-temperature resistance, corona and arc resistance, and electrical insulation. It can be used in the production of various electrical wires and cables, as well as for jacketing rubber tubes and parts of electrical insulators, heat-resistant seals, irregular-shaped components, and foam strips.

APPLICATION
1. Weatherstripping: General Purpose Silicone Rubber (GPSR) extrusions are commonly used as weatherstripping to seal windows, doors, and other openings against wind, rain, and air infiltration. The silicone rubber's excellent resistance to UV radiation and extreme temperatures make it a reliable choice for outdoor applications.
2. Electrical Insulators: GPSR extrusions are used as electrical insulators in a variety of applications, including wiring harnesses, electrical enclosures, and electronic devices. The silicone rubber's high dielectric strength and resistance to corona discharge make it an ideal material for these applications.
3. Tubing: GPSR extrusions are used as tubing in a wide range of applications, including medical devices, food and beverage processing, and chemical transfer. The silicone rubber's ability to withstand extreme temperatures and resist chemical and biological degradation make it a dependable material for these applications.
4. Seals and Gaskets: GPSR extrusions are used as seals and gaskets in many applications, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment. The silicone rubber's ability to maintain flexibility and sealing performance over a wide temperature range, as well as its resistance to chemical and UV exposure, make it an ideal material for these applications.
