How to use
1. Weight: According to 1:1 weight ratio to take A and B components. According to needs to mix various pigments (the usage of pigment should be determined first).
2. Mixing: It is better to use specialized equipment for fully mixing, such as small planetary mixer. Pay attention to scratch bottom and wall of container when stir by manual operation.
3. Deaeration: Do vacuum degassing in the specialized rubber mixing equipment. Or place the mixture in vacuum degassing tank with its container in order to guarantee no air bubbles in the curing rubber. The mixture surface location will rise to 3~4 times higher than original and automatically break bubbles to collapse. Please hold vacuum status more 4~6 minutes, then release.
4. Curing and molding: Pour the mixture into mold or filled site. Curing at room temperature, heat will accelerate it. Choose matched primer, cured rubber can adhere to substrate.
Packing, Storage & Shipping
R-625 A/B is supplied in 2×20Kg plastic drum, net weight.
R-625 A/B has a shelf life of 6 months at least if stored in the sealed original container between 0℃ to 30℃.
Storage time beyond the specified data does not mean that the product is no longer usable. In such case, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
There is no shipping limitation for R-625.
Compatibility
Certain materials, chemicals, curing agents and plasticizers can inhibit the cure of R-625. Most notable of these include:
If a substrate or material is questionable with respect to potentially causing inhibition of cure, it is recommended that a small scale compatibility test be run to ascertain suitability in a given application. The presence of liquid or uncured product at the interface between the questionable substrate and the cured gel indicates incompatibility and inhibition of cure.
