Precipitated 6.5Mpa Self - Lubricating Silicone Rubber DHS1340 Special Elastomer
DESCRIPTION
This versatile product can facilitate the production of items with varying hardness levels and performance specifications. Upon vulcanization, the material's surface can release silicone oil, allowing for effective self-lubrication over a specific timeframe. Possessing excellent physical characteristics and processing capabilities, it is suitable for creating self-lubricating silicone rubber connectors, seals, and washers through molding processes. This particular product finds extensive use in the machinery, automotive, and aerospace industries.

CHARACTERISTICS
Using self-lubricating materials can offer significant advantages. Not only do they reduce friction, but they also prevent components from fusing together or adhering to other surfaces. To achieve this effect, a specific product is added to the rubber mixture during the blending process, which makes it incompatible with certain oils, soaps, or waxes. This incompatibility results in a self-lubricating property that allows the material to slide more easily. However, it's important to limit the amount of these materials added to the compound, as excessive quantities can damage the mechanical properties of the material. After vulcanization, the self-lubricant will migrate to the surface of the material, where it will be visible over time. The appearance of the lubricated surface will change gradually and become more pronounced in the days and weeks following production.
APPLICATION
1. Silicone rubber connectors
2. Sealing elements
3. Washers
4. Medical devices
PACKING AND SHIPPING
Precipitated grade self-lubricating silicone rubber is typically packed in moisture-proof bags or drums to prevent contamination and moisture absorption during transportation and storage. The packaging should be clearly labeled with the type of material, batch number, and any other relevant information. The bags or drums should be securely sealed to prevent spillage or loss of material during transit.
When shipping the material, it is important to comply with all relevant regulations and requirements for the transportation of hazardous materials. The material should be handled with care and transported in a manner that avoids damage or exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture. It is also important to ensure that the shipping container is clearly labeled with the appropriate hazardous material warnings and other required information.
