DESCRIPTION
CSM 403 is a type of elastomer that is typically white or yellowish in color and comes in round chip form. It possesses all the properties of its base polymer while also having special characteristics of its own. The elastomer is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbon and hydrochloric ether, but it remains insoluble in fatty hydrocarbon and alcohol. It exhibits swelling but is not soluble in ketone and ether. Notably, CSM 403 demonstrates excellent resistance to ozone, atmospheric aging, and chemicals. It also offers superior physical and mechanical properties, as well as heat aging resistance, heat endurance, subzero resistance, fuel resistance, abrasion resistance, and electrical insulation.
