Pastes DBPH Crosslink Vulcanizing Agent Polymer Addictives For Silicone Rubber
DESCRIPTION
The double 2,5-dibromophenyl (DBPH) crosslinking agent is a chemical compound used in various applications. It is characterized by two bromine atoms attached to a phenyl ring at positions 2 and 5. This unique structure allows for efficient crosslinking of polymers and other materials.
The DBPH crosslinking agent is commonly used in the production of rubber and elastomers. It acts as a curing agent, promoting the formation of strong chemical bonds between polymer chains. This results in improved mechanical properties, such as increased tensile strength and resistance to heat and chemicals.
In addition to rubber, DBPH is also used in the production of adhesives, coatings, and sealants. Its ability to form stable crosslinks enhances the durability and performance of these materials. Furthermore, DBPH can be used as a flame retardant, providing an additional layer of safety in various applications.
Overall, the double 2,5-dibromophenyl crosslinking agent is a versatile compound that plays a crucial role in enhancing the properties of polymers and other materials. Its unique structure and reactivity make it an essential component in various industries.
APPLICATION
This product is a bifunctional peroxide that can be used for crosslinking natural or synthetic rubber, as well as for crosslinking thermoplastic polyolefins.
FEATURES
Appearance: Transluscent pastes.
Content: 50-55%
Heat Stability: The organic peroxides is thermally unstable, which can undergo exothermic self accelerating decomposition. The self accelerating decomposition temperature SADT is the lowest temperature at which peroxides undergo self accelerating decomposition in package used for transportation. The determination of SADT is based on 'Thermal Accumulating Storage testing'.
Main decomposition products: Acetone, methane, tert pentanol, tert butanol, ethane.
