Acrylic Elastomer ACM Rubber 15.60Mpa 1640 Grade 220 Elongation Active Chlorine Type
DESCRIPTION
ACM rubber, also known as Polyacrylate rubber, is a type of synthetic rubber known for its exceptional resistance to heat and oxidation. It also exhibits excellent resistance to oils, especially those that are petroleum-based. Due to these properties, ACM rubber is often used in automotive applications for hoses, seals, and gaskets. However, it has poor performance in low temperatures and doesn't perform well in applications involving water or certain types of brake fluids.

ADVANTAGES
1. Heat Resistance: ACM rubber is highly resistant to heat, making it suitable for high temperature applications.
2. Oil Resistance: It is particularly resistant to petroleum-based oils, which makes it an excellent choice for automotive and industrial machinery applications.
3. Durability: It has great long-term durability and can withstand continuous exposure to challenging environments.
4. Weather Resistance: ACM rubber exhibits good resistance to weathering, ozone, and sunlight, maintaining its properties over time even when exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
APPLICATIONS
ACM elastomers, which offer a combined resistance to heat and oils, are primarily utilized in situations where these features are necessary. They often serve as a cost-effective alternative to pricier heat-resistant elastomers such as FKM, VMQ, and FVMQ, particularly for applications with elevated temperatures (less than 150 °C).
These elastomers are commonly used in automotive transmission components such as seals and hoses, which need to withstand hot oil, fuel, and various automotive lubricants and hydraulic fluids. The excellent resilience of ACM elastomers also makes them suitable for vibration damping. They are also used in textiles, adhesives, and coatings.
ACM elastomers typically function continuously within a temperature range of -10°C to 150°C, and can withstand temperatures up to 175°C for limited durations.
