DESCRIPTION


Triallyl Isocyanurate (TAIC) is a chemical compound used as a high-efficiency crosslinking, vulcanizing agent, and modifier. It enhances the properties of various resins and rubbers, including heat resistance, mechanical strength, hydrolytic resistance, and weather resistance, due to its three allyl groups and a triazine ring. It's largely used in the production of heat-resistant materials, flame-retardant products, and high-performance coatings.

 

Insoluble in water, slightly dissolved in alkane, and completely dissolved in aromatic hydrocarbon, alcohol, acetone, hydrocarbon halides, eyclopentene hydrocarbon.

APPLICATION


1. Various cross-linking modifiers for thermoplastic plastics (such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated polyethylene, EVA, polystyrene, etc.). The general addition amount for thermal crosslinking is 1-3%, and the addition of diisopropylbenzene peroxide (DCP) is 0.2-1%; The dosage of irradiation crosslinking is 0.5-2%, and DCP can no longer be added. After crosslinking, the heat resistance, flame retardancy, solvent resistance, mechanical strength, and electrical properties of the product can be significantly improved. It significantly improves product quality and has no odor compared to using peroxide system crosslinking alone. Typically used for polyethylene, polyethylene/chlorinated polyethylene, polyethylene/EVA, cross-linked cables, and polyethylene high and low foaming products.


2. The vulcanizing agent for special rubbers such as ethylene propylene rubber, various fluororubbers, and CPE (combined with DCP, with a general dosage of 0.5-4%) can significantly shorten vulcanization time, improve strength, wear resistance, solubility, and corrosion resistance.


3. The crosslinking agent for acrylic acid and styrene type ion exchange resins has lower dosage and higher quality than divinylbenzene crosslinking agent. It can prepare ion exchange resin esters with excellent properties such as pollution resistance, high strength, large pore size, heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and oxidation resistance. This is a newly developed and promising new ion exchange resin both domestically and internationally.


4. Modified agents such as polyacrylate and polyalkylacrylate can significantly improve heat resistance, optical properties, and processing performance. Typically used for heat resistance modification of ordinary organic glass.

 

PACKAGE AND STORAGE
